About Minor Hotels

Through a diverse portfolio of 12 hotel brands, Minor Hotels serves travellers around the world while continuing to expand its global footprint.

Within Europe and the Americas, the organisation operates more than 350 properties across 30 countries, with continued growth focused on its upper-upscale and luxury brands.

The challenge

In hospitality, delivering exceptional guest experiences depends on people. Operating in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment means employees must balance high performance with personal wellbeing while adapting to changing operational demands.

Minor Hotels wanted to strengthen resilience across its workforce by helping leaders and teams better manage pressure, navigate change, and create psychologically safe environments where people could thrive.

Specifically, the organisation wanted to:

  • Create greater psychological safety within teams.
  • Help employees manage workload and change more effectively.
  • Strengthen resilience and overall wellbeing.
  • Develop leadership capability through practical, accessible learning experiences.

The solution

Minor Hotels had already integrated several Talogy assessments, including Talogy InView Leadership Solutions, into its internal leadership development programmes, embedding assessment insights throughout key learning journeys.

As part of its Route for General Management programme, participants completed:

Building on this foundation, Minor Hotels partnered with Talogy to introduce Team Resilience Training, helping participants translate individual insights into stronger team performance.

Before each workshop, participants completed the PAPI and Resilience assessments, giving them a deeper understanding of their strengths, behavioural preferences, and resilience strategies.

The workshops combined assessment insights with facilitated discussions, experiential learning, reflection, and practical action planning. By bringing individual data into team conversations, participants developed greater self-awareness, built stronger relationships, and identified practical ways to improve collaboration.

The results

The programme helped individuals and teams strengthen resilience by turning assessment insights into meaningful behavioural change.

Key outcomes included:

  • Greater self-awareness through personalised assessment insights.
  • Increased understanding of individual strengths and resilience strategies.
  • Improved psychological safety, encouraging more open and constructive conversations.
  • Stronger collaboration through a shared understanding of team dynamics.
  • Practical action plans that supported lasting behavioural change.
  • Leadership development that balanced performance with employee wellbeing.
