However, they realized that employees often did not know how to find or use these resources, leading to confusion about how to drive and grow their careers within the organization. Understanding the importance of effective <a href=\"\/en\/knowledge-hub\/employee-development\/\">employee development solutions<\/a>, the health insurance provider set out to create a comprehensive <a href=\"\/en\/talent-management-solutions\/consulting\/leadership-development-programs\/\">development program<\/a>, specifically focused on driving career progression &#8211; linear or horizontal \u2013 of their top performers at, or below, Director level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The purpose of the program was to enable selected associates and managers to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understand effective career development practices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learn how to take ownership of their personal development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increase their knowledge of existing career resources and internal tools for development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhance career development conversations between associates and their manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The health insurance provider had been working with Talogy previously, having used the <a href=\"\/en\/talent-management-solutions\/assessments\/caliper-personality-assessment\/\">Talogy Caliper personality assessment<\/a> in the organization for 3 years. With Talogy already being an established and trusted talent partner and understanding Talogy\u2019s scope of solutions could help them create a powerful development program, they decided to partner with Talogy on this project. The partnership with Talogy allowed the health insurance provider to provide associates with 1:1 personalized coaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The client created a 4-month pilot program for a small select group of participants to address this challenge. Ultimately aiming to support internal mobility, the guided journey included support on how to leverage their in-house career development resources, workshops delivered by their internal HR team, and 1:1 sessions with Talogy coaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants were also asked to complete the Talogy Caliper assessment at program initiation, giving them invaluable insight into their strengths and development opportunities though intuitive reports that enabled them to take control of their personal development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On top of that, participants received a personalized Talogy coaching guide at the end of the program, containing actionable development prompts and activities that enabled them to keep taking steps towards their personal development even after the program had finished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide are-vertically-aligned-center has-border-color has-primary-500-border-color is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-14a98bec wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-width:2px;border-radius:18px;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70)\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-container-core-column-is-layout-9f7ebb90 wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0;flex-basis:100%\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote talogy-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow is-style-large--1\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Talogy&#8217;s coaching allowed a safe and organic place for participants to discuss their strengths, opportunities, and career goals, which enabled them to have better conversations with their leaders and more focus on their career development path going forward. Talogy was an excellent partner throughout this program for both the program team and program participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"talogy-quote_author wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">Pilot Program Co-Leads<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"talogy-quote_author-title has-secondary-500-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-390496cab58e03eb2660befc4a7d94a8 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">US-based health insurance provider<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI had a lightbulb moment, that I do in fact want to be a people leader. That I essentially already have been this entire time \u2013 but informally.
