development, offering a wide variety of development resources to their almost 100,000 healthcare associates. However, they realized that employees often did not know how to find or use these resources, leading to confusion about how to drive and grow their careers within the organization. Understanding the importance of effective <a href=\"\/en\/knowledge-hub\/employee-development\/\">employee development solutions<\/a>, the health insurance provider set out to create a comprehensive <a href=\"\/en\/talent-management-solutions\/consulting\/leadership-development-programs\/\">development program<\/a>, specifically focused on driving career progression &#8211; linear or horizontal \u2013 of their top performers at, or below, Director level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The purpose of the program was to enable selected associates and managers to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understand effective career development practices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learn how to take ownership of their personal development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increase their knowledge of existing career resources and internal tools for development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhance career development conversations between associates and their manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The health insurance provider had been working with Talogy previously, having used the <a href=\"\/en\/talent-management-solutions\/assessments\/caliper-personality-assessment\/\">Talogy Caliper personality assessment<\/a> in the organization for 3 years. With Talogy already being an established and trusted talent partner and understanding Talogy\u2019s scope of solutions could help them create a powerful development program, they decided to partner with Talogy on this project. The partnership with Talogy allowed the health insurance provider to provide associates with 1:1 personalized coaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The client created a 4-month pilot program for a small select group of participants to address this challenge. That I essentially already have been this entire time \u2013 but informally.
