However, users share common complaints, with the most common one being frameworks are often too generic and provide no role-specific insights, followed by the shallowness or complete lack of consideration for much-valued transferable&nbsp; skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When asked about assessing AI fluency, <strong>78%<\/strong> emphasised that <strong>future assessments must move beyond technical tool proficiency<\/strong> to provide a thorough evaluation of AI readiness, including critical judgement and data literacy to use AI safely and effectively &#8211; and make sense of the information it provides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The skills that matter most to today\u2019s HR leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most important skills are largely transferable, softer skills, core to the values of today\u2019s organisations and now some of the strongest indicators of how effectively people are working with AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HR leaders listed the most important capabilities as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>AI tool proficiency (48%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data literacy (43%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adaptability (42%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Problem solving (40%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Judgement and critical thinking (36%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The challenge now goes beyond identifying these capabilities to understanding how they work collaboratively in a real-life setting &#8211; and how they can be measured consistently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The need for AI-driven, role-specific talent assessment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To keep up with the adoption of AI, HR leaders are asking for talent assessment frameworks that offer a rigorous assessment of AI fluency, and that can be easily tailored to evaluate role-specific skills \u2013 including transferable skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Non-negotiable priorities, both among US and UK leaders, are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a deeply scientific and validated methodology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>solid proof of business impact through case studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>integration capabilities into existing HR tech stacks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Commenting on the study\u2019s results, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/dawnbaron\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/dawnbaron\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dawn Curless, VP, Global Marketing at Talogy<\/a> said: \u201cAI is reshaping talent management faster than most HR teams can design frameworks.
