Their technologies enable their customers to create a better world. Improving everything from the energies that power us and the materials we build with, to the medicines that cure us and the food we enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Malvern Panalytical pride themselves on their people being at the heart of their strategy and want to provide them with the tools to do their jobs well and skills they need to perform at their best. With this in mind, they were looking to develop the soft skills of their employees to complement their technical capabilities and ensure success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They were looking for a range of requirements with their prospective partnership \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>to develop a wide range of <a href=\"https:\/\/talogy.com\/en-gb\/knowledge-hub\/leadership-development\/\">leadership<\/a> and individual training modules<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to deliver the programme worldwide in local languages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a programme that was tailored to their specific needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>potential to <a href=\"https:\/\/talogy.com\/en-gb\/talent-management-solutions\/develop\/scaling-development-programmes\/\">scale delivery across multiple functions in the business<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Malvern Panalytical and Talogy worked together to create a tailored Development Booster Program creating a programme that really fitted business needs and goals. The programme included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Completing online tools, including <a href=\"\/en-gb\/talent-management-solutions\/assessments\/papi-personality-questionnaire\/&quot;\">personality questionnaires<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/talogy.com\/en-gb\/talent-management-solutions\/assessments\/mindgage-cognitive-ability-test\/\">ability tests<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participating in interviews with Talogy coaches<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data insights to showcase group strengths and weaknesses and provide actionable, effective development methods<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bespoke individual Development Booster programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The programme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Initial Development Boosters were deployed amongst 200 sales employees and 80 finance employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Talogy and Malvern Panalytical went on to <a href=\"https:\/\/talogy.com\/en-gb\/knowledge-hub\/leadership-development\/\">create an extended programme for leaders<\/a>, which included a 12-module program on personal effectiveness, focusing on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Leading yourself<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leading others<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leading the business<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leading towards the future<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme was accompanied by a buddy scheme where each sales leader partnered with another for continued learning outside of the modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program was well received internally and produced some great feedback from employees:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>78% of the sales team scored 8 \/10 or higher on the feedback survey<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The sales team felt the training was really for them as individuals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The buddy scheme has proven a good space for learning and sharing thoughts, ideas and feedback<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Since deploying the programmes, Malvern Panalytical have found that:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sales leaders have taken on more ownership and responsibility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visible improvements in our engagement survey with first line leaders increase their use of coaching and time spent on discussing development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Forecast accuracy has improved over the last 6-9 months<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individual well-being has improved<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employees are making more decisions faster within their circle of control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide are-vertically-aligned-center has-border-color has-primary-500-border-color is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-14a98bec wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-width:2px;border-radius:18px;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70)\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-container-core-column-is-layout-9f7ebb90 wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0;flex-basis:100%\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote talogy-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow is-style-large--1\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Talogy really listened to the goals that we had and created the content with us in partnership rather than reuse existing content\u2026The team has been so successful in working with us that we\u2019ve expanded to other departments, so we are now working with our marketing teams, our finance teams and our service teams and in total over 500 of our employees will take part in the booster program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"talogy-quote_author wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">Nicola Rathbone<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"talogy-quote_author-title has-secondary-500-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4880fb4d6fa0c02d9f1380c59eb3ad63 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">VP Global Human Resources at Malvern Panalytical<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s next with Talogy?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Talogy will continue to partner with Malvern Panalytical.
