MBTI® Assessment and Certification in the Middle East
Official MBTI® assessments, accreditations, coaching and workshops delivered across the Middle East.

Talogy is the exclusive Middle East representative of The Myers-Briggs Company. Through this partnership, we provide organisations across the GCC and wider Middle East with official access to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) – one of the world’s most widely used personality type frameworks for leadership, team and individual development.
Grounded in decades of research and delivered by certified practitioners, the MBTI® approach helps people better understand how they communicate, make decisions and work with others. Combined with Talogy’s deep regional expertise, MBTI® becomes a powerful tool for building stronger leaders, more cohesive teams and more effective organisations across the Gulf and wider Middle East.
What is the MBTI®?
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) is a structured, research-based framework based directly on the theories of Carl Jung, and specifically his work on “psychological types,” which proposes that people have innate preferences which inform behaviour. MBTI provides a powerful tool to raise self-awareness of those preferences and awareness of others’ preferences and has achieved British Psychological Society (BPS) Registered Test status.
The MBTI® is based on four preference pairs:
Extraversion (E) / Introversion (I)
Where you focus your energy: the outer world of people and activity, or the inner world of reflection and ideas.
Sensing (S) / Intuition (N)
How you prefer to take in information: facts and details, or patterns and possibilities.
Thinking (T) / Feeling (F)
How you make decisions: objective logic, or personal values and impact.
Judging (J) / Perceiving (P)
How you approach structure and planning: organised and decided, or flexible and adaptable.
Together, these preferences form one of 16 MBTI® personality types, offering a clear yet nuanced understanding of how people differ – and how those differences can be used productively at work to form effective leaders and teams.
As a BPS-registered psychometric assessment, the MBTI® meets recognised professional standards for use in development, coaching and organisational learning.

Why organisations use the MBTI®
Across the Middle East and globally, organisations use the MBTI® to support a wide range of people development initiatives, including:
- Improving communication and teamwork by helping people understand different working styles, reducing friction and strengthening collaboration.
- Developing leaders and managers through deeper insight into leadership preferences, decision-making styles and interpersonal impact.
- Supporting individual development and coaching by identifying strengths, potential blind spots and preferred ways of working.
- Navigating change and resolving conflict by creating a shared, non-judgemental language for understanding differences.
Importantly, the MBTI® is designed strictly for development purposes. It is not intended for recruitment, selection, promotion or performance evaluation.
The value of the MBTI® in the Gulf and wider Middle East
Organisations in the Gulf and wider Middle East operate within uniquely complex environments. Rapid growth, evolving nationalisation agendas, and highly multicultural workforces bring enormous opportunity – alongside challenges related to communication, leadership and collaboration.
The MBTI® is particularly valuable in this regional context because it:
- Creates a common language across cultures, helping multinational teams understand differences in communication, decision-making and working pace
- Supports leadership effectiveness in hierarchical and relationship-driven environments, enabling leaders to adapt their style while remaining authentic
- Strengthens collaboration in diverse teams, where nationality, language and professional background may otherwise create misunderstanding
- Encourages respectful dialogue around differences – an approach well aligned with Middle Eastern values of respect, harmony and relationship-building
When delivered with cultural awareness, the MBTI® helps organisations across the UAE, GCC and Middle East improve trust, engagement and team effectiveness, without labelling or limiting individuals.
